The website RetrementTips.com has been online since early1999 and was originally referred to as "Retirement Tips and RV Stuff". Over this period, we've had over 57,000 viewers, most of whom visited between 1999 and 2006. It's now 2018 and we decided it's time to sell to someone who is looking for an established domain name to use for their retirement information. Below, a brief description of the evolution of the current site is included, to provide some ideas on how the domain name might be useful and productive for the new owner.
Originally, the Retirement Tips and RV Stuff site was oriented toward RV travel, getting online while RVing, investing (while RVing), and had a section dedicated to baby boomers. In 1999 and several years afterward, we were providing information on dial-up access, which was about the only mode available at RV parks and other facilities. Starting about 2000, the site InternetOnTheRoad.com was created, so most of the "getting online" information was included there instead. Eventually, we developed sections entitled Retire, RV Travel, Invest, Get Online, Entertainment, and Miscellaneous. We also added a section Travel Log documenting our RVing from 1999-2013, America Views with photos from around the USA, Camping Club recommendations, Monthly (almost) Newsletters, Photo Tour with some unique pictures, and a link to our RV Blog. A few years ago, we decided to redefine the site to concentrate primarily on retirement, without the RV tone. That's what you'll find now if you go to RetirementTips.com or Retirement-Tips.com. We've decided to keep the site up under the dashed name, but sell the "undashed" name to someone that might have more current information or some that is differently oriented.
